Fed: Addressing skills crisis will help lower rates: Beazley

Opposition Leader KIM BEAZLEY says the government must address the nation's skills
shortage .. to lower interest rates.

Mr BEAZLEY says the Reserve Bank's been saying for five years what Labor's been saying
for ten .. that skills and infrastructure issues must be dealt with.

He's told Southern Cross Broadcasting people borrowed to the eyeballs .. based on JOHN
HOWARD'S promise at the last election that interest rates would remain at record lows.

But Mr BEAZLEY says that was a lie.
