QLD:Floods could spread across five states
Weather forecasters say flooding that's hit Queensland and New South Wales could spread
across five states this week.
Weather Channel meteorologist TOM SAUNDERS says a second burst of heavy rain this week
is likely to cause havoc .. spreading flood waters across the eastern seaboard.
He says there's no doubt this is one of the most significant rain events of the past few decades.
Mr SAUNDERS says the rain will begin in South Australia today .. before spreading through
Victoria .. Tasmania and western NSW tomorrow .. and reaching central NSW and Queensland
from Thursday.
