GOOGLE is running a campaign to get 100,000 businesses online by the end of the year. As part of this, they have launched the Best of British Web Competition to find the UK's best websites.
More than half a million small businesses in the UK are run entirely online, but Google wants more firms to take advantage of the internet with its free website builder at www.gbbo.co.uk.
The competition is open to all small businesses that have up to 50 full-time staff.
Companies can enter at the above website. Contestants will be judged on design and usability on June 26.

WE have teamed up with Google to offer 50 Mirror readers the chance to join a session with techie experts to get your firm online.
There are going to be two 60-minute sessions on June 24 at Google UK HQ in London, with 25 places on each.
One session will be for beginners and will give guidance on creating a website with no expense incurred, along with tips on how to showcase your firm in the best possible light.
The other is for the more advanced user, where they can learn how to improve an existing website, along with tips on making online operations a bigger hit.
