QLD:Fraud suspect still in hospital
A four-day manhunt for a public servant who is accused of stealing millions from Queensland
Health ended when the fugitive was found semi-conscious in his Brisbane home.
A security guard alerted police that HOHEPA MOREHU-BARLOW, also known as JOEL BARLOW,
had returned to his multi-million dollar inner-city New Farm unit.
Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson says when police entered the unit about 3.30am (AEST),
Mr MOREHU-BARLOW was verging on unconscious.
Mr ATKINSON says Mr MOREHU-BARLOW was treated for a medical condition at the Royal
Brisbane Hospital but would not elaborate.
Mr MOREHU-BARLOW is expected to be released from hospital late today or tomorrow and
will be charged with fraud.
